Balcony Outlet Installation Information

Installed prior to the concreting of the suspended slab being poured.

• Installed horizontally to the 50mm PVC pipework.

• 50mm socketed outlet.

Tips & Tricks:

• Prior to priming: Pre-fit the engagement of the ABS puddle flanges to the PVC pipework to check the correct finished height required for the graded substrate.

• Always allow extra depth: Allow an extra 10mm ± just in case. It is always better to have a greater grade than not enough!

Installation:

• Prime and solvent-glue the pipework and puddle flange.

Tips & Tricks:

• Always level the top of the puddle flange after installation.

• Always ensure the Base, Cap, and foam ring are firmly in place.

The balcony outlet has four secured tie-down points to fix it securely to the reinforcement steel/bars, preventing the outlet from moving, twisting, or floating during the vibration of the concrete pour.
